Tori Amos - Scarlet's Walk
Another CD for which I don't really have a single defining memory, I really just remember Amanda's insane excitement about its release. She'd tried before to get me into Tori, but it never really took.
When this came out, and Amanda got her copy, I readily listened. And I really, really liked it. I don't know if it's really the most accessible of her records, but it was absolutely the gateway to my enjoyment of all of her earlier work.
When I finally got my own copy of this record, I bought the limited edition so that Amanda might have a charm that she could wear on her wrist or neck. She still wears the turkey around her neck.

This is the only Tori CD I’ve listened to a bit.
If nothing else, I very much like the concept.
