Explosions Outside My Window

I am in the midst of the most incredible thunderstorm I've seen all summer. Pounding rain, frequent lightning, and thunder that rattles the windows and shakes my heart.

  1. What a storm! I had to wait 30 minutes to walk to my car from work; the rain was blowing sideways. And roads are flooded; drive carefully.

  3. I sat on the gate in SFO for 1:47 (been there?)to wait for air traffic to give us the OK to go. Landed only 1:30 late, but had to wait for a gate, then after everyone was up, had to reseat them, to move the aircraft back 5 feet!….when it rains it pours!
