I'm Leaving Again
I'm spending more time away from school this year than any previous year, and I love it. This weekend brings me to Amanda's home, where her mom will make us margaritas as we celebrate Amanda's twenty-first birthday. Additionally, we'll be attending the much-talked-about (mostly by Amanda) Bloomsburg Fair. I've been to fairs before, because I distinctly remember seeing a pig race, but I don't remember much else. I must have been five or less (Mom? Any ideas?).

You have a good memory! It was the Orange County (NY) fair in August, 1986, which made you 4yrs and 4mos old. That’s early for memories…But it made me take out the photo albums, and that was lots of fun. Brought back lots of memories for me.
Update on the earlier comment…we also went to the Orange County Fair in 1987, so I’m not sure which visit you’re remembering….not sure which year we watched the pig race…do you remember that they used Oreos to get them to run?
