Kill Bill Has Penetrated My Brain
I saw Kill Bill twice this weekend, which should be enough information to convey that I loved it. I don't really know what Volume 2 has in store, but I know that the two-volume approach was perfect; I'll be mulling over the last line for a good portion of the four months between now and the release of the denouement.
What's really bothering me now, though, is that I have two songs alternating in my head as I walk around, depending upon my mood: one is the creepy whistle tune (which must be from a TV show or other movie or something) from the scene with Darryl Hannah, and the other is the badass O-Ren-Ishii-and-the-Crazy-88-walking-through-the-House-of-the-Blue-Leaves theme.

Oh, kickass! I was supposed to see that last Friday with my friend Jon, but he decided to bring a DATE instead. Pfff. Feh. I would have been way more fun.
By the way, I just read Sandman. My five-word review: Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome.
Sandman…the whole thing? 1-10? Have you read Dream Hunters? Endless Nights?
Awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome. And I’m going to see Neil Gaiman speak on Saturday.
No, not all of them. Just Book of Dreams. And I expect a long detailed post after you see Neil Gaiman.
Dude, that’s not even Gaiman. He edited that.
Get yourself a copy of Endless Nights. You’ll thank me.
