Merry Christmas Amanda!

Amanda and I went to DC last night to see the Devils play the Capitals. Nothing could make me happier than a girlfriend who likes getting hockey tickets for Christmas.

The Devils, however, let us down. Bad turnovers and sloppy play killed them. Of course, Olaf Kolzig making 43 saves didn't help at all. It was a shame that Brodeur wasn't playing, but at the same time nice to see Clemmensen make only his second NHL start. He certainly didn't disappoint: two of the goals were off turnovers that he had no prayer on. And damn, his pads are bright as hell.
