Jersey Girl

I’m not even going to bother trying to write an objective review of Jersey Girl. My biases—my love of all things View Askew, my heterosexual man-crush on Ben Affleck—are far too deeply ingrained for me to just forget them, and besides, Jersey Girl isn’t even for critics.

So now that that’s out of the way: I loved Jersey Girl. Yes, it is cute, sentimental, essentially a chick flick—all things that should make for a terrible film—but I didn’t care. I laughed loud and long, felt what Kevin Smith wanted me to feel, and went home happy.
