About that other paper...

So I had a pretty easy time writing that last paper. Well, easier than I expected, at least. Now I realize why: I did some serious research. I read three books and a bunch of law review articles before I even began to write. By the time I did start writing, I had something to say.

This new paper on copyright…is not going so well. I assumed that, because I’d read a few books on it in the past, and I naturally try to keep up on the issue, I wouldn’t have a problem. As a consequence, I began writing it tonight, and I realized that I really don’t have anything to say. I’ve done no real research since the paper was assigned, it’s due in five days, and my family visits this weekend.

This could get very interesting.
