Departure
Amanda and I leave tomorrow for Niagara Falls, the first stop on our whirlwind cross-country tour. I have no intention of seeking out internet access in the next six weeks, so it’ll probably be nearly silent here. I am leaving the site in Dan’s very capable hands, so that it is not overrun with comment spam on my return.
I’m excited and terrified at the same time. I feel like I am standing on the great precipice of childhood; at the bottom of the chasm is adulthood. The next six weeks are the fall. I’m going to enjoy the hell out of it.

I don’t know if you’ll read this before you leave, but I want to wish you both a wonderful trip filled with lots of adventures and fun; things that will make lifelong memories. Have a great time!! I’ll miss you.
