I don't have any idea what to title this so here goes...
His dad pitched for the Red Sox for several years, so he was naturally a Red Sox fan from birth. He was psyched when they beat the Yankees and won the World Series last year.
One of our last conversations was sparked by the I’m a Rocker. I Rock Out. t-shirt I wore yesterday. He asked where it was from, and I told him about Diesel Sweeties. He had been sick last week, and mentioned that he’d spent way too much money on comics in the past month. I asked him what his favorites were, and he said Boondocks was his current favorite. I had just heard about the new Complete Calvin and Hobbes collection, so I asked what he thought of that strip.
“The greatest comic strip in the history of comics, excepting maybe Bloom County.”
When I heard the news this morning, one of the first things I thought of was an old Calvin and Hobbes strip.
We’ll miss you, Leo. Enjoy the cabaret.

A well-written tribute. As I’m sure you already know, it made me cry, even though I never met him. I’m sure he will be missed. I know you always spoke fondly of him. I do hope he enjoys the caberet!
