Nit-Picking the Postal Service

Does anyone else get a little annoyed every time Ben Gibbard sings, “I will guard the door like a goalie tending the net in the third quarter of a tied-game rivalry” in Nothing Better? Everybody knows there’s no such thing as a quarter in hockey, dammit!

Or is it just me?
